Yesterday, the TLA team completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, in true British fashion: wind, rain and mud the whole way.
It was a tough day, but every single one of us made it round. Devon, Emily, James, Anton, Holly and Charlotte all completed the walk, alongside friends from NABS, Haymarket Media Group, What Car?, Autocar, Hearts & Science, Mediaplus UK and PHD.
Why we did it
50 challengers took on the peaks together to raise vital funds for NABS, organised by TLA and Haymarket. Every step helps NABS support our industry through the ups, downs and everything in between.
It matters more than people might think. NABS' latest research found that 71% of people in our industry still don't feel enough is being done about mental health, and 35% wouldn't feel comfortable speaking up about their own mental health.
A tough but rewarding day
Three peaks, one long day, and a lot of rain and mud. It wasn't easy, but that's rather the point. Challenges like this bring people together across the industry, not just within one company, and remind everyone that support is there if they need it.
